Reading Promotion Week : Primary Section

In order to promote reading habits among the students, following activities will be conducted from 22 - 28 November 2024 under the guidance of the teachers for Primary Classes according to PM SHRI Initiatives Phase II -

1.     Book Design / Drawing                                        Class - 1

2.     Reading aloud                                                        Class - 2

3.     Kahani Sunao (Story Reading Hour)                    Class – 3^rd  to 5^th

4.     Poem recitation competition                                 Class – 3^rd  to 5^th

5.     Correct words per minute competition                  Class – 5

 

For these activities’ stationary may be purchased.

Certificates and prizes will be given to all the successful participants.

Libraries are not just places for reading. They are also spaces for discovery and exploration. By using hands-on activities, you can make learning interactive and enjoyable.

These activities will help children explore their creativity while appreciating the tranquil environment of libraries.

Career Guidance and Counseling Workshop for Class 12

Two session conducted for creating awareness for the students of class 12 for the Recent Trends in Computer application and Business Management on 23/10/2024.

Career Guidance Resource Material : NCERT and UNICEF

The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, in collaboration with UNICEF India and NCERT, released the “Career Guidance Book” on the eve of Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam on 29th July 2024.

This guidance and counselling innovative resource features 500 detailed "Career Cards" designed to help students make informed decisions about their future. Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, these cards offer early exposure to a variety of career options, detailing responsibilities, qualifications, and potential career paths. 

Teachers and counsellors can use these engaging and user-friendly cards to guide students toward achieving their professional goals. Let us empower the next generation with the knowledge to navigate their career journeys effectively!

Rashtreey E-Pustkalay App

Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya (राष्ट्रीय ई-पुस्तकालय) is a digital library platform and app project by the Department of School Education and Literacy in the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The project's goal is to make quality non-academic books available to people across India, regardless of language, geography, genre, or device. The app is also known as the National Digital Library (NDL)

The Rashtreey e-Pustkalay Mobile Application offers several key features including being the first of its kind free digital library for NON ACADEMIC BOOKS. It provides a personalized reading experience, easy exploration, multi language support and operates on a secure private platform.

AuroScholar Programme : Aurbindo Society and KVS

Auroscholar programme is being adopted and promoted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.  

All the CLASS TEACHERS from 6-10 are requested to download the AuroScholar Mobile application (Aurbindo Society) and get register all the students of their class.                             

Auro Scholar Programme offers online monthly scholarships for school students in India. Students, now take 10 min curriculum-based quizzes and get INR 50 scholarship per quiz within 24 hours (INR 1,000 for 20 such quizzes).
